Here are the key updates from the release broken down by category:
General Enhancements
Oracle Cloud PDH Integration: You can now keep critical product data in sync automatically between GoCAD and Oracle Cloud Product Data Hub.
Upgraded Data Comparison: The analysis screen is now optimized for offline use, making it easier to trace changes and manage versions without being tethered to a live connection.
Broader File Compatibility: Support has been extended for CAD, PDF, and STEP attachments, which helps close the communication gap with downstream teams.
GoCAD Adapter for SolidWorks PDM
New Admin Panel: A dedicated space to view system logs, giving admins much better oversight of what’s happening under the hood.
Automated PLM Data Import: The system can now assign Part and Change Order numbers directly from your PLM, cutting down on manual data entry.
Visual Syncing: CAD thumbnails now sync directly to the PLM to act as item icons, making it much faster to find the right part visually.
Audit & Quality Guardrails: Bulk part creation now includes specific part numbers in the logs for better accountability.
Duplication Warnings: New popup alerts will stop you before you accidentally create duplicate entries.
These functional updates allow for users to experience an enhanced CAD data management workflow with a smoother and more responsive interface.
